For over the past 85 years, Stange Company has been a manufacturer of insignia and medals for religious and fraternal orders, militaries, heads of state, and international dignitaries. Our unsurpassed level of craftsmanship and attention to quality and detail have attracted numerous long-standing national and international clients, including the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre, the Government of Antigua and Barbuda, the State of Jordan, the Crown Council of Ethiopia, the Constantinian Order of St. George, and the Sovereign Military Order of Malta. In 2000, Stange Company was commissioned by the Crown Council of Ethiopia to produce the Order of Solomon, considered one of the most difficult insignias to produce. Made with 18K gold, and accented with over 12 Carats of diamonds, rubies and emeralds, the Order of Solomon has only been awarded to six heads of state, including Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain.
Hand-crafted of precious and gilding metals, and accented with hard-fired cloisonné enamels produced through century-old techniques, our insignia decorations are a reflection of our company's commitment to excellence. Very few firms in the world are able to produce hard-fired enamels due to the complex processes involved in their manufacture. All of our insignia are packaged in hand-made leather cases produced by a four-generation bookbinder who is considered one of the best in the world.
